Gateshead Family Fun Day
incorporating the Gateshead Food, Arts and Craft Fair
Saturday 14th July 2018
Entry Prices – Adults £1.50 , OAP £1.00 & U18 Free
Gateshead Family Fun Day is an annual event that has been running for well over 30 years starting off initially as the Rugby Club’s garden Fete. However, over the last 5 years or so we have made a big effort to integrate the event into the wider Low Fell and Gateshead community and attract a much wider audience. This has proved a huge success and we usually attract a great number of visitors over the day (high numbers especially if the weather is good).
Although the rugby club is open all day the Fun Day runs from 1pm until 5pm-ish, followed by live music until 8pm.
We’ve got some great creative businesses coming along to the Family Fun Day on Saturday 14th July with some brilliant products that you just won’t find on the high street. A huge range of jewellery, gifts, cards and delicious food. In addition to the stalls we will have face painting and glitter art, as well as craft activities from Kiln Pottery & The creation station.
There will be a great selection of new side stalls and games for you to try your luck at, as well as our popular book stall, bric -a – brac and tombola.
We will also be bring back our delicious BBQ stall, Gin bar and beach bar.
