Blistered Molly is a female fronted rock band from the North East.
The lead singer has been performing solo throughout the region for over 10 years and has joined forces with some of the North East’s finest musicians to create the full band experience.
With a talented rhythm section and powerful lead guitarist, they add their own twist to classic rock songs. They primarily cover classic 70’s and 80’s rock songs by various artists including Guns ‘n’ Roses, AC/DC, Fleetwood Mac, Led Zeppelin and The Kinks as well as performing their own original material.
They have played a variety of festivals throughout the country to date and have shared the stage with a number of notable artists such as The Jam, Toploader and XSM (Simple Minds).
Paul Skerrit Band (14:45 – 15:40)
Their musicality and versatility is shown perfectly in their self-crafted arrangements of songs that ordinarily would never make it into the repertoire of a jazz band. Taylor Swift, Wild Cherry, James Brown and Daft Punk have all been given the ‘Jazzed’ treatment. The band is available in several line ups, the most popular proving to be with the addition of a saxophone player.
The Paul Skerritt Band have opened for the likes of Tony Hadley and Boney M, so are not afraid to take to the stage in front of thousands of people. They get as much of a buzz playing to substantial audiences as they do playing at an intimate function or wedding, and the delivery and musicianship always remains the same. The camaraderie between the band members is key in giving the audience, whoever or wherever they may be, a show that they won’t forget in a hurry, and will always leave the audience wanting more.
Big River (13:35 – 14:20)
A lively 5 Piece Country Rock band with 4 part harmonies playing the music of Neil Young, Blackberry Smoke, Lynyrd Skynyrd, A Thousand Horses & many more..

With a membership of 80 singers and growing, the choir is always pleased to entertain audiences and to welcome new members. The choir performs regularly throughout the region and the United Kingdom and looks forward to foreign trips
Since 1920, the choir has promoted male voice singing by developing a increasingly wider repertoire. With music from Palestrina to the popular, from local folk to global music, we hope that there is always something for everyone at every rehearsal and concert
For a number of years the choir has been pleased to be able to perform their signature tune, “Music” by John Miles, at the beginning of every concert.
