At the Beer Festival, entertainment will be provided at times throughout the weekend in a Marquee in the picturesque grounds of the club.
This will be a mixture of music and traditional North-East culture. More details will be available as we add acts to the line-up.
All timings are approximate and subject to change.
As well as the acts below, the Newcastle Falcons final game of the season (vs Wasps 2:00pm), and the FA Cup Final (Chelsea v Liverpool 5:15pm) will be shown live on the TVs in the club.

7:30pm - 9:30pm "The Elvis Experience" With Mike Memphis and the Memphis Belles.

The North's most in-demand Elvis tribute!
At the festival this Year, Mike will be giving you all "A Taste of Vegas" being accompanied by two of his gorgeous `Memphis Belles` - Exciting dance routines and many glamorous costume changes - a must see show!!
2011 was a fantastic year for "Mike Memphis and The Elvis Experience". Regular bookings, referrals and re-bookings for 2012 - Mike and his show can be seen on a regular basis at a variety of venues throughout the North East.
Testament to the quality of the show is that Mike is now being offered work World wide, most recently on January 10th 2012, Mike was performing at the fabulous Atlantis - The Palm in Dubai - a venue most artists could only dream of performing at.
Mikes popularity continues to grow with his website reaching over 50,000 hits since it was set up in Jan 2010. He also has over 6,000 members of his Facebook fan club, made up of people young and old from all over the World.
The variety of shows on offer has developed at breakneck speed. His solo show still thrives, but now he also offers:-
`Elvis - The Road to Vegas` - The musical history of the King of Rock n Roll set in true "Vegas style" featuring Mike and the fantastic Memphis Belles showgirls!!! This show has already played at the Journal Tyne Theatre in Newcastle upon Tyne, to a full house.
`The Memphis Band` A top Live Band - superb musicians that give the show a true `Live feeling` - at a price lots of venues can afford!!!

Saturday 5th May 5:45pm - 6:45pm - Rob Heron and the Tea Pad Orchestra
|
Rob Heron & The Tea Pad Orchestra play an eclectic and original musical brew of 1930's swing, gypsy jazz, hokum blues, cajun, and country, all with similar themes of debauchery, dandyism, disasters and drink.
Formed in Newcastle Upon Tyne in 2010, they have shared stages with the likes of Pokey LaFarge & The South City Three, Old Sledge and Smoove & Turrell; as well as playing at festivals ranging from Solfest to Cheltenham Literature Festival.
With a set that comprises of original songs and speakeasy favorites, they are sure to make your feet tap and your booty shake.

Saturday 5th May 4:00pm - 5:00pm - Paul Liddell
|
Paul Liddell is a working musician/singer/songwriter/recording artist based by the sea in the North East of England. So far he has released two solo albums and 3 EPs. His first album 'A Lighthouse Keeper's Diary' was released on his own label 'Regulus Music' and was distributed in stores around the UK by Universal/Absolute, and his current album, the excellent 'Milestones And Motorways' is a proudly home-made and independent release.
Paul is an experienced live performer with an unstoppable work ethic, clocking up on average 20 gigs a month both solo and with his band 'Delphians' for the past three years. Live, his singularly unique voice and unpretentious delivery combine with the use of live sampling, guitar percussion and layered vocal harmonies to provide a great platform for his wonderful songs to shine. Paul has also toured in America, whipping up a storm in several little coffee houses across California. While there he performed on a TV show filmed in Time Warner studios in Hollywood, and got his song 'Brighter Lights' placed on a nationally distributed and TV advertised folk compilation CD.
Other live highlights include a show-stopping performance on the main stage at the Beverley Folk Festival, and a memorable show at the Piperine Free Festival in Milan. Other artists Paul has shared billing with include Beth Rowley, Glenn Tilbrook (Squeeze), Karine Polwart, Polly Paulusma, Kathryn Tickell, Nick Harper, Amy Wadge, Nerina Pallot, Billy Bragg and Florence And The Machine.
Paul's songwriting and performance have been recognised throughout the industry, claiming awards for 'Best Male Artist' at the International Acoustic Music Awards, a finalists place at the Independent Music Awards, and a winning place in the International Songwriting Competition.

Saturday 5th May 2:30pm - 3:30pm - Rockabilly Chris
|
Rockabilly Chris has been in Rockabilly and Psychobilly Bands since the late 1980's. Playing guitar and singing in bands such as the Killer Munsters, Five Knuckle Shuffle, Thee Unnamed, Fulton Rockaway Boys and is currently playing in York based Rockabilly trio The Jitters.
As well as playing with The Jitters, Rockabilly Chris plays Red Hot Rockabilly and wild Rock 'n' Roll on his Acoustic Guitar.

|
Carly has been gigging as a duo since December 2010 with her guitarist Steve Reay at local pubs and restaurants. She also plays guitar herself and goes to Buskers night to play her original material and meet new people.
'I love all types of music...Soul, Jazz, lounge, pop. My favourite artists would have to be Stevie Wonder (the main man), Adele, John Mayer, Beverly Knight, Beyonce, Norah Jones, John Legend, Aretha Franklin, Joss Stone, Angie Stone.'
Carly has just recorded an original track 'Souls', all thanks to Dee Dowling it's better than she had ever hoped. It will be on iTunes very soon
