Gateshead Beer and Music Festival 2021 – Important Notice
As the current COVID-19/Coronavirus pandemic continues to be in the news, and given the current public health guidance on the limiting of social contact, the committee have today taken the difficult but we believe correct decision to reschedule the 2021 Gateshead Beer and Music Festival, due to be held on 30th April to 2nd May 2021.
The safety of our festivalgoers and volunteers is at the forefront of our decision, and despite discussing additional hygiene measures that we could undertake, it was agreed that the best course of action was to postpone the festival to ensure that we were not putting large groups of people at risk.
With this in mind, the current plan is that the festival be held on the new dates of 27th to 29th August 2021.
We are in the process of trying to secure our music line-up for that weekend, however it is likely that there will be some changes with bands already being booked on the new dates, and we will announce what we know in due course.
All ticketholders have two choices: either a full refund, or an exchange to one of the 2021 dates.
If you bought your tickets online:
Please email GBMF2020@gmail.com with your reference number, and state clearly if you require a refund or an exchange.
For refunds, please include your name, sort code and account number, so the refund can be processed electronically. If you would like to exchange, please provide your address and state clearly which date in 2021 you would like to exchange your ticket for.

Please include a letter that states whether you would prefer a refund or an exchange. Again, for refunds, please include your name, sort code and account number, so the refund can be processed electronically. If you would like to exchange, please provide your address and state clearly which date in 2021 you would like to exchange your ticket for.
We are aiming to keep this process as electronic as possible to remove the need for people to exchange their tickets in person.
Please note that we will not be offering exchanges or refunds in person at the rugby club or other sales outlets at this time.
It goes without saying that the current situation is a moving one and we will assess any further changes in circumstance as and when they arise.
