The team behind the ever popular Gateshead Beer & Music Festival and the Gateshead Gin Festival are delighted to announce the return of the Gateshead Summerfest
“We are looking to bring the Summer Vibes to Low fell with our very own Cocktail & Gin Bars serving your favourite cocktails and Gin infused drinks! We will also see the return of the Prosecco bar as well as a huge selection of Craft Beers, Ciders and Lagers”.

The Heist – 19:30 to 20:30
THE HEIST are a high energy 5/pc band from the N/E of England, Formed in early 2023 the lads are bringing their years of experience together to deliver you classic 90’s & 00’s Indie, Punk, RnR!

The Stoned Crowes – 18:00 to 19:00
A 5 piece, guitar based band, located in the Newcastle area.
The Stoned Crowes comprises, Baz and Jamie on twin lead guitars, Big Mick on bass and Jon on drums with Spike on vocals.
The band are very aware of the songs that people like to hear but try to mix things up with some songs that you will hopefully recognise but won’t hear other bands do.
Fantastic covers of AC/DC, UFO, The Black Crowes, Michael Schenker Group, Thin Lizzy, Thunder, Bon Jovi, The Stones, Van Halen, Stone Temple Pilots, Foo Fighters etc.
Utopia – 16:30 – 17:30
Utopia are a 5 piece rock/indie and ‘others’ covers band with fun loving local members who formed in 2009. Their unique brand of entertainment combines great sound, great lights, a bit of banter and a good time vibe. They will get you smiling, dancing and singing along and they love a bit of audience participation so grab a tambourine!
Some of the covers are… ACDC, The Killers, The Weather Girls, Shocking Blue, Erasure, The Stereophonics…
Redwings – 15:00 to 16:00
Redwings are a 4 piece Indie Rock band playing all the hits from the 60s to modern day. They feature top class vocals, rich harmonies and a great band sound.
With such a wide repertoire, there is something for everyone!”
Dave Lynas – 13:30 – 14:30
Dave Lynas is a singer, songwriter and guitarist from the Northeast UK. Dave’s deep vocals and unique guitar sounds combine to create a rich and entertaining set from Indie to rock to chart to stuff of legend.

He has been booked regularly by most local Councils for Fun Days and family events in Newcastle, Gateshead, Durham, Northumberland and Tyne & Wear.
