Fun for all of the family @ Summer Fest 19

We’ve got two great family entertainers coming to Summer Fest 19 on Sunday 25th August.

Tony Junior – Family magic show & game show; A fantastic magician coming along to do a family magic show followed by a game show which will involve a few of the adults.

Lee Kyle & Friends – Children’s Comedy show; Lee Kyle remembers what it was like being a kid, because he has never really stopped. Except now, he is bigger than all of the actual kids so they don’t bully him anymore because he could beat them in a fight if he had to, except for some of the girls if they are wearing pointy shoes… Look, I’m getting side-tracked, I absolutely must make it clear that there will be no fighting of kids in this show.

SIBA Awards Review (Location: GatesheadRFC)

Brewers across the North East have every reason to raise a glass following their success at top beer awards where a North Shields-based alehouse was also crowned overall champion.

Celebrations are continuing in the wake of the SIBA North East Independent Beer Awards where Cullercoats Brewery took gold in the Overall Champion Cask Beer category for its 4.2% Polly Donkin Oatmeal Stout.

The beer, made from seven grains and all British hops, is described as a rich, thick and creamy stout and it became a triple award-winner at the Gateshead event by also winning gold in the Cask British Dark Beers up to 4.4% category as well as bronze among the Bottle/Can British Dark Beers….
