Straight from the main stage, we see the return of Dave Lynas in his now legendary Friday night hall spot!
It gets better, as this time he will be accompanied by world class violinist Ben Bloom!
They offer a mix of genres, delivering passionate covers with a fun, classy vibe, showcasing the virtuosity of the violin alongside guitar and vocals.

Low fell Ukes

Low Fell’s very own Ukulele Club meets each Monday evening at Gateshead Rugby Football Club. Around thirty strummers meet to play songs and tunes from the 1920s to the 2020s.
The very first public performance from Low Fell Ukes was at the Beer and Music Festival in 2018 since when we have looked upon the festival as our favourite gig.

The Bryan Adams Experience

Northern Lights

Northern Lights is Durham University’s award-winning, student-run mixed a cappella group. Consisting of 16 singers including a beatboxer, the group performs a wide range of genres.
They are renowned as one of the best collegiate a cappella ensembles globally, recently placing second at the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella (ICCA) World Finals on Broadway in New York.

Ellington Colliery Band
(14:45 – 15:45)
Based in Morpeth, Northumberland, the Ellington Colliery Band is one of the busiest brass bands in the North East of England, entertaining at dozens of concerts, weddings and events every year.
The band also partakes in a busy contesting schedule, currently competing in the second section.

What happens when 3* guys called Dan get together?
Obviously you create the ultimate acoustic party band called OnlyDans!
OnlyDans is made up of acoustic guitar , Bass and Cajon percussionist. Playing party and sing along anthems from 80s to now . If people don’t dance or don’t sing along it’s not in the set , simple as that . Upbeat and fun but with an acoustic twist like Mumford and sons does Dance , Rnb , pop and indie ….
Charlie Whyte
(17:00 -18.15)
“Since 2014, Charlie has been performing in venues closing into extreme detail in the art of live performance.
Using a loop station to create percussion, keys, guitar and vocal loops he controls a one-man band at his finger tips and feet. Feeding off the audiences energy only encourages him to give more.
It is this maturity of performing for so many years that gives him the education to know what song is best for the occasion whether it be a first dance or the one to get the party started. From slow soul to upbeat classics, Charlie prides himself on versatility in vocal/tonal range.”
